7 Months!

It's July. It's hot. And our baby is 7 months old this month! Here's what he's been up to:

He has started getting his booty up during tummy time, getting himself ready to scoot, and spins around like a pro to grab his toys. And he's rolling over regularly from back to front. Front to back is more sporadic.

He's a very cuddly boy. He loves to bury his head in our chest or shoulder while holding him. And he will often act shy when other people are talking to him, hiding his face and turning away from them with a smirk.

He has started eating meats, chicken and turkey. He was not so sure about them by themselves (I don't blame him, they smell pretty awful), but with rice, fruit, or veggies mixed in he just loves them. He is also very interested in our food. He will watch intently anything that goes up to our mouths, staring at us. He smiles when we chew and he thinks its especially funny if it's something with a loud crunch. And then he opens his mouth up wide, like he's really going to get something... pretty soon.

He just loves yelling out loud and making Geeeeesh noises. We think he's been saying Mama... kind of on accident though. It always seems to come out at the end of a crabby whine:  "Ahhhh, Wahhh, Argggg, Maaama". Maybe he intends to put that in there, just to let me know he's not happy.

His favorite way to fall asleep lately is laying on his side facing Mama or Dada laying next to him. He strokes our face lovingly too, who could resist that every night?
