We took him for his 6 month appointment and he is 27 inches tall placing him in the 75th percentile for height, he weights 20 pounds placing him in the 90th percentile for weight, and his head measures 17.5 inches placing him in the 75th percentile for head circumference. Our big boy is staying big.
He is getting very good at sitting up straight, all on his own. And he just loves bouncing in his bouncer and squealing with delight. And he likes to climb right up Mama's torso when being held, thinks he really going somewhere.
He is eating a lot of fruits. No favorites yet. He still just opens wide and can't get it fast enough, no matter what the flavor. Apple, peaches, and pears... YUM! (Bananas too... cautiously. We thought maybe he had a reaction to them the first time we tried them, a little rash that night. But the doctor thinks it was unrelated so we'll try again soon.)
He really likes showing off his bottom two teeth. No more yet, but the gums on top are really swollen. We think more should be cutting through any day now. He likes when we check for new teeth because he takes that opportunity to bite down... hard. And he thinks it's funny when we tell him "No No". We're working on that.
His new favorite toys are his wooden blocks. He loves grabbing them and chewing on them, he just thinks that they are the perfect size for his little hands and the corners fit nicely into his teething mouth. And he likes when Dada builds towers so he can knock them down.
He is getting really good at rolling over from back to front.
And he is always banging his hands and toys on anything within reach. Bang! Bang! Bang!
He is such a well behaved baby. We are so blessed and lucky. Everyday is a new adventure!
