3 Months

Our big guy is three months old already. Here are the latest pictures from our three month photo session. He's getting pretty good at tolerating us taking pictures each month.

He is really smiley!

And he loves 'talking' to Mamma and Dadda.

Sometimes he gets so excited he yells out at us.

He has been sleeping longer and longer at night, 

often making it 9 or 10 hours.

He has been really interested in his own hands lately

and just loves putting them in his mouth.

He's also working on reaching out and grabbing his toys

and bringing them to his mouth too.

He just loves standing up on laps.

And he's getting really good at tummy time!

Back to work

Mommy had to go back to work this past week (I guess it HAD to happen eventually). I wasn't really ready for it but at 12 weeks it was time. I was sad and nervous, but knowing that he was in good hands at home with his Daddy made me feel so much better. The work day seemed to go by so slowly but I was home by 3:00p and both of my boys were perfectly fine when I got there.

Catching Up

Thatcher had his 2 month check up a while back. He's a biiiigggg boy! He was 23.5 inches tall putting him in the 75th percentile for height, 14 pounds putting him in the 95th percentile for weight, and his head measured 15.5 inches in diameter putting him in the 40th percentile.

He also had to have his first round of immunizations :( He cried real big boy tears and was NOT very happy about it (which broke Mom and Dad's hearts), but he soon settled down and didn't complain any more after the initial trauma. He even got some cute Charlie Brown Band-Aids for his chubby little legs...
