4 Months Old

Our handsome little man is 4 months old this month. We had our 4 month check up last week and the doctor said he is a very strong boy. He weights 17 pounds 10 ounces now putting him in the 90th percentile for weight. He is 25.5 inches tall putting him in the 75th percentile for height. And his head is 17 inches around moving him up to the 75th percentile for head circumference. He continues to be our BIG boy and we are starting to feel it in our backs after a long day of carrying him around.

He is starting to sit up... with help

He is giggling and starting to laugh out loud (mostly when Mama shakes her head back and forth and says "No, No, No"... uh oh)

He still enjoys tummy time and lifting his head and shoulders way up to look around. He has even started to scoot on his tummy. He pushes with his legs and pushes his face into the floor to move forward.

And the doctor gave us permission to start baby foods! We started two nights ago with rice cereal and he just can't get enough of it. He has been doing really good with the spoon right from the start.

Our little tiger is really exited for this upcoming baseball season!

This is my new Easter toy!

I'm still getting used to it.  My feet don't touch the floor yet, but there is a lot of fun stuff for me to do.

I also like to use it as a TV chair.  That was a very good show.

Dadda put together my high chair for me last night, and I 

feel like a real big boy in it.

And look what the Easter Bunny brought me...

Yes, those are my first two teeth... at 17 weeks! 

We were wondering why he was getting fussy, and congested, and waking up at 3:30a again. Well now we know. As far as teething babies go, he has still been a very good, happy boy!
